The Bourne Identity

This is, of course, the first installment in the Jason Bourne series.

I watched this with the alternate beginning and ending. I think that the alternate beginning would have taken away from the film if it had been used. They would have had to change several other scenes for it to have worked. If they had used the alternate ending it would have possibly altered the entire rest of the series.

I enjoyed the fast paced action and the character development that occurs in this film. I pretty much always viewed this film simply as something to tide people over till they made the second film. As I watched it this time I realized that it could be a stand alone film.

A good film but I like the next 2 installments better.
