I had considered using this as a potential episode of the podcast but decided against it for several reasons.
The main thought that kept occuring to me throughout this movie was how the way society used to envision a corporation causing a dystopian world is very different from how it looks like they would do it today.
The ease with which Murphy reconnects with his former partner (of only one day), yet how easily he is willing to let go of his wife and son is a disconnect that didn't work for me. The corporate executive as the overarching henchman, was ok. Kurtwood Smith as Boddicker is possibly the best performance in the movie.
6 out of 10 *'s.
