Easy A (2010)

This is a 2010 release about a clean cut high school girl named Olive (Emma Stone) who sees her life paralleling Hester Prynne's "The Scarlet Letter" after a little white lie about losing her virginity gets out. Before long Olive decides to use the schools rumor mill to advance social and financial standing.

When I started this movie I wondered what I was watching and what I was in for, in the end I was pleasantly surprised. This movie was consistently entertaining and presents an entertaining scenario of running the rumor mill.

Despite the initial impression I had about this film I would recommend it. 3 out of 5 stars.
