Dejavu

This is a 2003 Touchstone Pictures release featuring Denzel Washington, Val Kilmer, Paula Patton, Bruce Greenwood, Adam Goldberg and Jim Caviezel.

ATF Agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) is called in to help gather evidence in the aftermath of a bombing of a New Orleans Ferry but gets pulled away from the scene and is taken to a top-secret government lab that uses time-shifting surveillance device to try and solve crimes. The group begins trying to solve the who-done-it of the ferry bombing. Almost immediately Agent Carlin begins to doubt the story he is being told of how the machine works. As he learns more he begins to wonder if he can't change the past. They begin making attempts to do so but do they really change anything?

I really enjoyed this film. 3 out of 5 stars.
